Managing, supervising and conducting seafarer assessments competence following the provisions of section A-I/6 of the STCW Code and TMSA 3/Element 3 and as per IMO Model Course 1.30
Objectives
After the successfull completion of the course, participants will be able to perform on shore and on board assessments, and will be well-prepared to undertake all the responsibilities expected of assessors within their field of expertise.
It is recommended for the participants to have experience in senior management on board ships or office staff ashore performing at shore and on board assessments.
Course materials Laptops with simulator, Operation Manual, Task Manal 1 & 2, Notepad with transparent paper, Pencils, High Performance Teams Manual, The debrief Model manual.
With registration, a number of additional study resources are provided, amounting to approximately 4 additional hours of learning and training.
After completing the training, four (4) free one to one mentoring sessions are provided. The aim is to increase your knowledge, develop your skills and be supported to put that knowledge into action.
